Home Before Dark by Susan Wiggs

Home Before Dark by Susan Wiggs is Jessie Ryder's journey back home to create memories. Sixteen years ago she gave up her daughter for adoption to her sister, Luz, and her husband, Ian. Jess meets Dusty, a man that has a tragic past, but is trying to live for the future with his little girl, Amber.

The title says it all as Wiggs tells the story of a woman whose life is turned upside down by blindness. Wiggs has us follow the journey of Jessie, Luz, Lila (Jessie's daughter) and Dusty through their point of view. I found this to be a very compelling book.
